Experience & Expertise: With years of hands-on experience in immigration law, our legal professionals are equipped to guide you through the multifaceted process of obtaining a sponsor licence.

Tailored Solutions: We understand that each business is unique. Our approach ensures that your application is crafted to reflect your specific needs and situation.

Compliance Assurance: We check that your application complies with the requirements laid out by the Home Office, minimising risks.

Understanding Sponsor Licence Applications in the UK

Types of Sponsor Licences: There are two primary types of sponsor licences, namely ‘Worker Licences’ for long-term or skilled employment and ‘Temporary Worker’ licences for specific short-term roles.

Eligibility and Suitability Criteria: The Home Office assesses each application against specific eligibility and suitability criteria. From the genuineness of the organisation to adherence to legal and business requirements, each aspect requires meticulous attention.

Your Guide to UK Visa Sponsorship

  1. Understanding the Visa Types: Skilled Worker Visa, Global Business Mobility Visas, Health and Care Worker Visa, Temporary Worker Visas, and others require sponsorship by a licensed employer.

  2. Preparing for the Application: Crafting an application involves more than filling out forms. We assist in piecing together the myriad regulations and guidance documents, ensuring your application is robust and compliant.

  3. The Genuineness Test: Your application must pass the genuineness test, reflecting a true need for a sponsor licence and specific roles. We help you present a convincing business case.

  4. Compliance Duties and Responsibilities: Failure to meet compliance duties can result in severe enforcement actions. Our experts check that every aspect of your application is in alignment with the law.

Sponsor Licence Requirements

  • Eligibility Criteria: Your organisation must be genuine and lawfully operating in the UK, meeting specific criteria relating to its operations, personnel, and business model.

  • Suitability Criteria: This includes offering genuine vacancies, having HR and recruitment systems in place, and proving your organisation’s honesty, dependability, and reliability.

  • Genuineness Test: This looks at your genuine need for foreign nationals, assessing how these roles fit within your organisation.

Navigating High-Risk Sectors and Complex Cases

High-risk sectors may face greater scrutiny. Our experienced team offers special support for industries likely to be considered high-risk, such as the hospitality and care sectors, ensuring your application withstands thorough examination.

Highlighted Review

Anj Hawken: “Words cannot express the gratitude I have for Alexander. After having a terrible experience with former lawyers and a failed visa application, Alexander immediately put everything at ease. He is truly professional, empathetic and extremely hard working. His commutations and correspondence are outstanding. I like to ask a lot of questions and every single one of them was answered promptly and professionally. I will continue to use his services for any immigration matters that I will face in the future. Again, Thank you so much for everything.“
