SET (DV): Settlement for Victims of Domestic Violence
SET (DV) is the Indefinite Leave to Remain application for people last granted leave as a partner or spouse whose relationship has permanently broken down because of domestic violence or abuse. There is no five-year route to complete, no financial requirement and no English-language requirement. The case turns on evidence, so a qualified immigration lawyer builds and organises it with you, carrying out the legal work listed in this package. Fixed fee per person. No paralegals.
- Full eligibility review against the SET (DV) requirements
- Help gathering and organising corroborative evidence, such as police, medical, court, social services or support-service letters
- A clear, detailed personal statement drafted with you
- Application prepared and submitted to the Home Office
- Routine Home Office correspondence about your application
- Direct lawyer contact at every stage of the package, no paralegals
"Can't say enough good things about Alexander. This is the 2nd time we used him, initially for my visa to move over and now for my FLR, and he's made it so stress free and easy."
What your fixed fee does and doesn't cover
The advertised fixed fee is per person and covers the standard legal work specifically described in this package. It does not include third-party costs, translations, interpreters, expert reports, counsel/advocate/barrister fees or substantial additional work outside the agreed scope unless expressly stated.
Additional work arising after submission, including correspondence or complaints concerning Home Office delays, is not automatically included in the fixed fee. We may undertake such work without additional charge at our discretion, but where substantial additional work is required a separate fee may apply.
This fixed fee is for standard applications. If you're unsure whether you meet the SET (DV) requirements, your leave was not granted as a partner or spouse, or you've had a previous refusal, prior convictions or any other adverse immigration history, please book a consultation first. These cases may need additional work and a separate quotation, and we'll recommend the right route.
